He is a consultant cardiologist and vascular specialist who trained in the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, United Kingdom, SUNY Downstate Medical Center and The John’s Hopkins Hospital in the USA. He has worked in several hospitals in Nigeria, West Africa , the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He is presently the chief executive officer of Total Heart cardiovascular consultants and a consultant to several hospitals. He attends the Grace International Church , Houston Texas and is involved in evangelistic outreach, apologetics and Christian maturity ministries.

He lives in Sugar land with his Wife, Dr Ese Otah, a minimal invasive and bariatric surgeon and their two sons, Kenny and Jason, with their dogs, Daisy, Bella and Wesley
